TrActivos® - Machine-to-Machine (M2M) Service

It is very common and usual that companies operations are dependent on the performance of physical assets, both mobile (e.g. tractors, trucks) and fixed (e.g. pumps, storage tanks). Many times over and in many instances these assets are nowhere to be found, accounted for and/or lack measurable productivity and usage metrics. In the high-tech industry this problem has been recognized and confronted for many years challenging the best minds around the world. To that, innovation in the development of sensing technologies and wireless communications has made it possible to align the various fragmented technologies for asset visibility under one common effort and marketplace competition, hence the birth of Machine-to-Machine (M2M).

Our M2M solution, TrActivos® consists of one common belief that physical assets can be viewed, managed, monitored and changed through the use of IP, ISO and various sets of engineering standards that form part of the M2M offering by various industry vendors. TrActivos®  allows enterprises to monitor, measure, manage and control their applications remotely. This means that TrActivos® streamlines and facilitates interaction between companies and their remote assets within a total wireless environment. The components that make our TrActivos® solution possible consist of the following elements:

TrActivos® consists of various elements that include but not limited to:

TrActivos® enables the transmission of the data to a central server for analysis and decision-making, to inform individuals or other devices for action. We developed TrActivos® to be rules-based processing that can facilitate the enterprise to create and enforce the rules for asset management, decision for action and total asset visibility for risk mitigation.

Hence, we provide intelligence for fixed and mobile assets that includes accessing data from disparate and convoluted electronic contraptions. With TrActivos® we can mine data from devices networks such as jBUS, Modbus, CANbus, jPOD as well as experts in communication with SMS (MO/MT), UDP/IP Sockets, TFTP, TCP/IP Sockets, FTP, SMTP (email), Telnet and DHCP (client or server). Thus, we use terminal devices that are flexible, are IP Code rated, Sensors that are adaptable for fixed and mobile assets to measure pressure, temperature, doors and windows, in a efficient and practical manner of communication.

M2M Landscape
The M2M industry is very large that has many different providers of the technology as well as focus areas. The M2M Landscape is comprised of various vertical industries and market segments. At Groupmab, we are focused on the Realtime Enterprise. For us the Real-Time Enterprise consists of two asset segments that are integral to running operations that include:

With the proper use of our expertise and applied technologies that are relevant to these assets, we enable the set of Business Intelligence for the enterprise to prudently and effectively make business decisions that are suited for the reaching the business goals.
